Sherif is currently a Clinical Assistant in the Division of General Internal Medicine, University Health Network - Sinai Health. Sherif completed his General Internal Medicine training at the University of Toronto.  He completed his MD at the University of Ottawa and Internal Medicine training at Memorial University. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Health Professions Education at Queen's University.

Sherif is examining the use of simulation-based medical education in Core Internal Medicine training programs across the country, as well as exploring residents' perceptions of the adequacy and effectiveness of their simulation training during residency.
