The HoPingKong Centre is a UHN-based Medical Education Centre, whose stated mission is to serve as an “incubator” for innovative, practice-oriented programs in medical education, to provide support to senior trainees in academic General Internal Medicine (GIM), and to recruit and retain staff in high level GIM consulting practice.

 

At the core of its mission is the application of education and scholarship to teaching and practice; the dual focus of education and the frontline interaction between clinicians in GIM and their patients.

 

There are two categories of membership open to faculty, fellow alumni, and colleagues, with a variety of ways to connect with the Centre.
